Can you believe that Halloween is just a few weeks away? In our house, Halloween night is all about trick or treating with the tots. But that doesn’t mean a grown-up gal can’t plan a festive celebration too!
These glam kitty decorations have inspired me to whip up a devilish cocktail and invite a few gal pals by after the little tricksters are tucked in for the night. If you have been busy planning a monster bash, we hope you’ll stop in and snag a few things from our hip Halloween decor.

A few weeks ago, I was looking for a good excuse to show off the stylish tabletop spread that I had recently scooped up from favorite vendor Tag, so we decided to throw a dinner party to celebrate the beginning of fall.
We were having a wonderful time that evening, catching up with friends while sipping wine, the scent of a cracking fire mingling with the crisp fall air.
Wait? Crackling fire? Is something burning?
Turns out my backyard tiki torches had burned down to the stakes. We quickly doused the flames. I popped open another bottle of wine and we all had a really good laugh.

The shop gals and I are long time fans of Funktion aprons. At market, we had a chance to meet the designers, an adorable husband and wife team.
