Moonlight Madness hit The Swank Company this summer.  It was a bit like the old JB White’s Sales, but without the money.  It seems in the wee hours of the morning someone did some shopping and took the cash register with them.   Rather than looking at the glass half empty, we’re looking at it as half full.  The girls are fine, stuff can be replaced.  Since no one decided to invite you, or better yet us, we decided to share the love and offer 30% off this Thurs-Sat.  We’re calling it Grab and Go.

Now that you know what happened while I was gone, let me get on to the good stuff!  WE are SUPER excited about our market finds.  Our Christmas this year will take you back to your childhood.  The ornaments are unlike any you will see anywhere else!  Think VINTAGE.  New Jewelry finds in San Francisco that will rock your fall wardrobe.  Again, nothing like anything you’ve seen around these parts.   Oh and the handsbags, let me just say you probably want to pop in a few times in the next couple of weeks to get first dibs.   Several of our favs are on their way right now!  From Atlanta to San Francisco, we did our best to bring the Fabulous to you!!!

So we are off this weekend to Market in Atlanta and then a week later, the Market in San Francisco. We want to make sure your Christmas is Swanky! It doesn’t matter if you’ve been naughty or nice, we want to know what’s on your list!

Today starts the first of my whirlwind trips that will take me through the first week of August.  Right now, I am enjoying the calm before the storm.   I’m in the mountains and will return only to leave again for Market in Atlanta the next day.  Atlanta is my comfort zone.  I’ve been on both sides of the trade there.  Lately, I feel like we haven’t really seen anything  new.  Of course we visit our old friends, those products that have been proven and that keep our customers coming back.  But, I want to fall in love again.  I want that feeling you have when you first meet that special someone.   You can’t wait to tell everyone.  I want my heart to flutter.  So, I guess I am saying that Atlanta is like the Bar on Cheers.  When we walk into a showroom they know our usual.  We scan the bar to find someone or something new, but it is the same thing.  Not that old friends aren’t your foundation,  but it’s the new and fresh that makes your heart flutter. 

I ‘ll be home a few days to gather everything and then the fam and I are headed to Puerto Rico for a week.  We need it.  Vacations are sacred and this one should deliver.  After that, we are  handing off the kiddos and taking the red eye to San Francisco for Market.

Hopefully, I’ll walk in and find a crush.  Hopefully they won’t know that I am the new girl in town.  Hopefully, there will be so many choices that I have to take a minute to take it all in.  I know I’m dreaming to think I will find that one, true love, but maybe.  Maybe it will  be another Waxing Poetic or Lollia.  Maybe a fab new candle line.  Maybe my heart will flutter and my palms will sweat.  Maybe I’ll have to text friends just to brag about my fab new finds even before I get back.  Lets hope it’s like that.
